Marcus Ruggiero – Owner

Marcus has over 10 years of heavy manufacturing experience in the Aerospace, Power Generation, Navy Nuclear, Oil and Gas, and Automotive industries working for General Motors, Precision Castparts Corporation, and Arconic. After graduating Carnegie Mellon University with a Mechanical Engineering Degree including a large business focus, he has held numerous roles in Operations, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Engineering – all of which enabled him to develop a knowledge of the industry from the ground up.

Marcus has had P&L responsibility for businesses ranging from $2.5M/year to $440M/year in annual sales. In making these businesses successful from both a top-line and bottom-line perspective, he has also been able to set multiple plant-level productivity records while satisfying or exceeding Safety and Quality metrics. Marcus has developed his knowledge base through experience at all levels of the metals industry and it is by leveraging this information that enables him to be effective in driving change and compliance.

Dan Rodgers - Vice President of Sales Operations

With 30 years of experience at all levels of the industry, Dan helps clients create predictable, profitable, and sustainable, revenue growth by building great sales organizations with properly aligned strategy, process, structure, talent, and accountability. Having worked with companies ranging from $5M to $240M in annual sales, Dan has flexibility in implementing proven techniques for businesses of all sizes. Small to mid-sized companies often reach a point where growth comes to a halt, new client development slows or stops, and revenue flattens or declines, leaving owners frustrated and having to focus more on sales than on running their business. Dan works with your company to drive sales growth when you need it the most.

Why Hire a Contract Employee?

Many companies have reservations about hiring a contract or temporary employee. Although full-time hires are very much a foundation block of a successful business, there is often a need for experienced individuals to lead or supplement a team. Some of the advantages in hiring a contract employee are listed below.

  • Less expensive than hiring a full time employee (taking benefits and payroll taxes into consideration)

  • Allows the company to use the resource as required – allowing more flexibility for both parties

  • Allows the company to utilize existing experience, which allows for a steeper learning curve

  • Brings forth fresh perspectives from experienced individuals

  • Typically, services are tax deductible
